Our National Organization

Rebuilding Together Houston began in 1982, as Private Sector Initiative. In 2003, after 20 years of growth, we joined Rebuilding Together, a network of organizations sharing our mission of providing low-income elderly, disabled, and veteran homeowners with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades.

Rebuilding Together’s local affiliates span the country. Each year, nearly 100,000 volunteers complete about 10,000 rebuild projects nationwide. We’re proud to be a part of this ongoing work, and grateful for the resources available to us through our national affiliation.
