Rebuilding Juntos 2023

Rebuilding Juntos during the fall of 2023 celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and Community Revitalization, which provides home repairs in the East End at no cost to homeowners.  We believe everyone has a right to a safe, healthy, and resilient home that protects them against disaster. Homes have received a variety of contractor work including roof restoration, structural stabilization, electrical and plumbing repairs. The work culminates with volunteers completing exterior repairs and painting in September and October.

East End Community Revitalization began in 2019 and has completed construction on 137 homes.  6 homes are in process and 17 are approved but waiting for funding.  163 additional families have applications in process.

To recognize Hispanic residents as a cornerstone of the Houston area, RTH is partnering with community organizations, representatives, and businesses to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
