Mr. Dyer is a 19-year decorated Veteran with the US Army, deployed in three combat tours during the Gulf War Era. He is the third generation owner of his home in Cloverleaf, built in 1940. Thanks to support from our funders, Rebuilding Together was able to bring the electrical system of the house up to code, install a low-curb shower, stabilize the structure, and replace old flooring.
On November 11, 2021, Veterans Day, volunteers from Lowe’s were proud for the opportunity to complete our repairs for Mr. Dyer, installing back steps and handrail, securing loose siding, and then scraping, caulking, priming, and painting the exterior of the home.
