Ms. Cade served in the US Air Force for 10 years and 3 years in the reserves. She was stationed in Germany, England, and Italy, working as an office administrator, in a Police squadron, and as a translator for Italian and Spanish. She likes to attend church and volunteers for a non-profit (The Center).
She has lived in her house since 1997 when she rented it, then purchased it in 1998. Thanks to support from Texas Veterans Commission and The Home Depot Foundation, Rebuilding Together was able to bring the electrical system of the house up to code, replace old flooring, and repair water-damaged areas in the home. A volunteer crew will paint and “seal the envelope” of the house.
